One of the
greatest weeks on campus is winter week and this years theme for winter week is
one that myself and many other students requested: Made in the 90’s Week. Winter
Week happens once a fall semester towards the end near finals to give students
one last hooray. Doing this week there are the most programs thrown in one set
them. Since this year in Made in the 90’s theme most of the programs have
focused on things from our childhood.
Early this week there was Double Dare trivia with
people getting slimed, build a bear stuff animals, and even boy band karaoke. One
of the programs that they hosted today in the Last Chapter Pub was TV shows and
lattes. This is when they put on four hours of shows like Rugrats, Rocko’s Modern
Life, Spongebob Squarepants, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Not only were
there those classic shows there were even hot chocolates, and coffee to go with
it.
When they started to play the shows everyone in the
Last Chapter Pub got quiet and started to stare at the screen with wide eyes
expressions. I was so happy to see my favorite shows again and sit with friends
while we tried to de-stress about school.
